All parcels are covered in case they are lost in transit. Standard cover is up to €70, which means that in case if the parcel is lost in transit you can claim for compensation of lost parcel. The compensation will be paid by the courier company, also the claim must be sent directly to them, we will be happy to assist you.
As soon as you buy a product from a non-EU country or post/receive a goods to/from a non-EU country then effectively you or the recipient become an importer and become liable to Customs and Excise Duty as well as Value Added Tax (VAT) payments. If the terms of sale do not specify another arrangement, the goods would normally be held by the Customs Authority at entry, pending the payment of duty and tax.
These charges must be paid upfront before the goods can be released. Once the custom tax and duties are paid, the courier will deliver goods normally within 1-3 working days.
You cannot claim a refund for an undelivered parcel if the payment of the customs charges and duties are due to pay.
Custom Taxes and duties are regulated by the Government of the recipient country.
